Country and Lace Florist is a well established florist in business since 1979. As a native Charlestonian I am very familiar with the places and customs of the Low Country. Charleston has become one of the most popular wedding destinations in the U.S. thanks to our rich historical places, beautiful beaches and friendly people. I have been blessed to serve brides from Charleston and around the world for over 27 years now. We have developed strong relationships and are highly regarded and referred by many churches, venues, caterers, and events coordinators.

The Bouquet The bride’s bouquet is the most important element of your entire wedding and anchors the other flowers. Hand tied bouquets are the most popular styles today. Cascading, single stems and garden style bouquets are also an excellent choice. All white bouquets are traditional and formal with roses, orchids, peonies, hydrangeas, lilies, freesia, stock and stephanotis being very good choices. For a touch of color, pale pinks or antique tones are beautiful to add in. For a bold look, bouquets of all red or shades of pink; a mix of red, orange and hot pink are daring or exotic depending on the flowers we use and really pop in pictures. Green flowers and berries are also a great color to add.
The Reception flowers can be as elegant or as simple as your budget allows. Floral arrangements should be below eye level in gold or sivler bowls, glass vases or low containers. Cluster arrangements or candles with floral rings or vines. Or for the Wow effect we can go above eye level on glass or rustic pedestals. A great way to go is with high and low arrangements to add visual interest and depth. Don't forget to give your centerpieces away to special people or donate them to hospitals or senior centers after the wedding.
